A selection of members work that showcases the range of talented members we have in our Guild.

Martin Dickie – Continuing with his study of Insular Capitals, Martin was inspired by a piece from Celia Lister to write them not as Versals but with a non-edged nib, a Speedball B3. This resulted in this work, written *boustrophedon manner (as the ox ploughs) to emphasise that the lettering is decorative. The text is part of an article in Letter Arts Review by Rosamund Casey: ‘Creativity and the Roman Alphabet.’
*Written from right to left and from left to right in alternate lines.
Leith Cohoe – Leith produced this piece by alternately dipping the same nib into blue and green Ecoline inks.
Jenny Fowles – Jenny used watercolour for the background foliage and Ecoline ink for the text.
Jenny used Ecoline inks to produce the look of watercolour for the background for her Uncial practice piece. This piece also featured on the May issue of Quiilo Talk cover
Leith Cohoe – Moonshadow Mist sprayed as the background with the text written in black ink.
